assignment 3

poem one:
sharks swimming just above the desert scatter the duks marching in perfect fassion as they search for a catch. i turn my back and rest for there will be the same amount tomorrow. because it is all the same. beneath this sky

poem two: THis one is about salvia dawg
security rests on your legs as this surface and i become one. They have breached our senses and your legs are gone. any shape i feel any color i see betrays my senses and there are entities. in every crevas of every rainbow wave.

you people have become monsters in the wake of this moment. and so have i.

The nameless, they are here on my pantry door they hear me tumble over the insanity that has painted the walls of this brand new world.

assignment 2

"you talk, you talk, you talk, but you never walk the walk ive heard it before and ive heard enough"

This is a piece of writing am really fond of from the band Throwdown. Its meaning is to be real and if your gonna say something, then do it otherwise you will just be lying to yourself for the rest of your life.

Back in 10th grade, my LA class read a play called "much ado about nothing" that i didnt really pay attention to, but as the class read it out loud i got to later pick up on the story and became rather immersed in it. After one of the main characters named "hero" died, i thought the story just lost its color and i got sad and i liked things how they were before and that is kinda how im like in reality too, i sometimes miss the old days.

assigment one

i sometimes enjoy writing on my freetime. i have been trying to finishup ideas i have had from a couple years ago in this class and outside. i write about the abnormal and some defining personal experiences, dreams and thoughts ive had. think of the personal experiences as the beef and the abnormal as the stew the dreams as the carrots and the thoughts as the potatoes

i have heard plenty of poetry and stuff from.. poets and the reason it just doesnt interest me is because they usually write about really normal things. i like it sometimes but i like abnormal things more because it makes you think about things outside of reality

most of the writing i like comes from the music i listen to. one band that i much appreciate for their lyrics is coheed and cambria. all their cds are different part of an EPIC story. the second stage turbine blade(pt.2) in keeping secrets of silent earth:3, good apollo, im burning star IV (pt.4 vol. I) i didnt realize that this band was trying to tell a set story untill someone told me, but either way i relate lyrics in their songs to my life.
somore musical poets i like are the black dahlia murder which hold my fave song called statutory ape. i like the lyrics a lot. gorilla honing trigger-finger, that makes gorilla man.ingrained, theres hate within us all. me and my buds recently did a cover of this song w/ me on vox it should be posted on myspace soon on Throne of lights myspace page (joke name)
my poem:
sharks swimming just above the desert scatter the duks marching in perfect fassion as they search for a catch. i turn my back and rest for there will be the same amount tomorrow. because it is all the same. beneath this sky

that was my artistic and inspiring poem about flying sharks and duckies
